Our Story

From a single consultant to a trusted nationwide safety partner.

2006: James Issachar joins the field as an OSH Consultant, building hands-on experience across manufacturing floors and construction sites.

2015: James becomes Director of Naja Safety Sdn Bhd, formalising the consultancy into a full-service safety training and compliance firm.

2017: Sister company Naja Scaffolding Sdn Bhd is incorporated (Reg: 201701012443 / 1226608-V), extending our construction safety reach with scaffolding supply and expertise.

2018: James founds Shechinah Association Johor Bahru, a charity dedicated to community welfare — reflecting a belief that safety extends beyond the workplace into society.

Today: Naja Safety serves 158+ companies nationwide, from Econpile and Penta Ocean Malaysia to GP Batteries and CIDB. We remain a compact, agile team of ~4 core staff supported by a freelance trainer and agent network.

James Issachar did not start in a boardroom. He started at NIOSH as a vocational trainee. Through discipline, field experience, and a genuine commitment to protecting workers, he built Naja Safety into one of Johor Bahru's most trusted safety consultancies.

With 20+ years in manufacturing, construction, and safety consultancy, James holds:
